A couple of you asked about the title of a post the other day...it was Lord Byron's poem; She Walks in Beauty.
The first stanza:
SHE walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that 's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellow'd to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.
How
weird I should think of that poem AND think about Second Life's
Windlight system, which allows you to control whether the weather has
cloudless climes or starry skies!
Anyhow, here's my beauty in the last pics from the session with Debbie's silks.

Oh Well...and Product Placement
Moving on from a rather unhappy Superbowl ending, I want to move on to a happier topic....anything!
This week I'm going to run pictures of my girl in dresses she just made for her store, and in this first one, I've got some subtle product placement- Let's see if you can guess the name of my wife's store...

Happy Superbowl Day Everyone!
Four Pictures of the Threesome for Game Day.
I think the Superbowl should be a National Holiday, or better yet, the day after the Superbowl should be one, so we can all eat and drink too much and have some fun without having to worry about being headachy at work. (Especially as the networks start the game so late and stretch what is usually a three hour game into a four hour game!) Anyhow. I'm as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rockers, so I'll just post these pictures of my beautiful wife and her wonderful friends and get out of here to reserve my spot on the couch. Go Pats! (or, if you're not into football, Go to the other blog and see more pics!)

The Sisters Pose as Patriot Fans
Here are a few pictures of my wife and her sister Debbie posing in their Patriots gear. We're really getting close to game time now and I'm genuinely nervous. I was so crushed by the loss to the Giants when the Pats were making a bid to go 19-0. Really, truly, crushed. I hope that this week of my gorgeous wife and her friends posing in Patriots gear, both here and on the other blog, will bring us some good Karma! I like the title of this one because they really are both posing as football fans, neither of them care about the game but are doing it for me. Isn't that the sweetest thing ever!

Another Video of My Wife and Her Sister Posing in Patriot Gear
This is another video of the two of them standing around while their friend Brandie was posing. I thought they looked cute so I shot some video of them standing around. Just a couple of days to go before the Superbowl, I can't wait and hope that my wife's efforts to cheer them on will help!
I've posted some videos of the three of them posing together over at the other blog if you're interested!

Maybe It Was Destiny?
I logged in and my wife showed me one of the first things she ever made in Second Life, the pair of red and blue shorts you see in the pictures below. She was going through her inventory and found them and remembered how perfectly they would go with her Patriots gear! Maybe she was destined to become a Patriots Fan? Ok, we're getting closer to the Superbowl and the excitement is obviously getting to me. (She was wearing the denim shorts when I logged in, I thought it was a cute picture).
In case you're new or are just catching up on your reading, all week long I will be posting pictures of my wife and her friends in the New England Patriots gear that my wife made for her Second Life Avatar in support of "my team" making it to the Superbowl. I know that many readers might be Giants fans, and this isn't intended as any sort of slight, but rather a celebration of how awesome my SL wife is (she's not even American so this is definitely not her team). All throughout the week I'll be posting pictures and videos from the photoshoots here and on my other blog, go take a look!

Patriots Fan Calls for Two Point Conversion?
I love these three pictures of my wife posing in her Patriots gear. I'm not sure whether the two finger sign is a V for victory, she wants peace or is calling for the two point conversion, but in any case if she were the referee and dressed like this on the field, I know I wouldn't care if she made bad calls, or if she were the coach and made us all run extra laps, I'd be ok with that. We're inching closer to the Superbowl, and I can't tell if the excitement here is all for the game.
